Happy Easter!

Our move to the new place got pushed over a week so I thought I'd squeeze in a post for Easter :) I love making these marbleized eggs from Martha Stewart Living each year. This time I went with all blue. You can find the instructions on how to make them right here.

Madison Park

Hello! I had to squeeze in one last post ;-)

A nice selection of my birdies are now available as greeting cards,  notecards, gift enclosure cards, invitations & wrapping paper from Madison Park Greetings. I'm very honored that my birdies made the cover of the 2013 Catalogue. I also collaborated with iPop in a variety of very cool magnets with my artwork. 

I'll let you know when those become available online.

To celebrate the arrival of Spring I made these tiny watercolor paintings on beautiful egg shaped washi paper cards I brought back from Canada last year.
They're 3.5" x 2.5" (not for sale)

Little Birdy in da House!

My sweet friend Diana recently sent me a lovely parcel filled with goodies. 

This cardboard bird house was included with all the birdie related treasures. 

It came flat in the mail, all I had to do was fold to assemble it. One of my watercolor birdies asked me if he could make it his home, of course I had to say yes & even decorated it with a Sharpie :-)

Dear Diana, thank you so much for all the wonderful, thoughtful gifts!
