Dream Catcher

I had always wanted to make one of these.
I used these instructions from Native American Technology & Art.

The Stones

It's amazing how much fun one can have with water, ink and a few stones.
The smooth stones I've been painting were left over
from one of Manolo's building projects.
He bought them in bulk from a building supply shop
& now they're all mine to play with for the next few years :-)

The Blues

I made some more stones today using acrylic ink. I'm keeping all of them :-)

Paper Weights

Freshly painted rocks to keep papers from flying away in my studio.
The weather is warmer and I love keeping the windows open
to let in the fresh breeze. I used acrylic inks and a liner brush.

Herbal Book

The Essential Herbal for Natural Health by Holly Bellebuono,
published by Roost Books will be released in next month.
I drew over 50 illustrations for this lovely book
as well as the lavender that was used for the cover.

Crumpled

This Copic marker drawing was rescued from the waste basket,
got photographed but ended back there in the end. RIP little blue bird & protea.

The lovely poetry embroidered hearts were made by Cathy Cullis.
